SEE-I is an excellent educational acronym that stands for S: State, E: Elaborate, E: Exemplify, and I: Illustrate. The concepts of this simple but effective acronym were first developed by researchers in critical thinking Richard Paul and Linda Elder and then further developed by fellow researcher Gerald Nosich, into the final critical thinking acronym (Paul & Elder, 2005; Nosich, 2012).
